Configuration & Setup (20%)

Profile, Permission Set, Default Settings, Lightning App Builder တွေကိုတော့ လက်တွေလိုက်စမ်းကြည့်သင့်။

1. Company Settings
  • Fiscal Year: Standard (Jan–Dec) or Custom (define own start/end).
  • Business Hours & Holidays: Define working times for support & escalation.
  • Currency Management: Single / Multi-currency, advanced currency management for dated exchange rates.
  • Default Settings: Locale, language, time zone, default currency.
2. Declarative UI Configuration
  • UI Settings: Themes, branding, navigation, tabs, search settings.
  • App Menu: Control which apps appear in app launcher.
  • List Views: Filter, share, and customize data views.
  • Global Actions: Quick create records, log calls, send email.
  • Lightning App Builder: Drag-and-drop builder for record/home/app pages.
3. User Management
  • Create / Maintain Users: Assign licenses, profiles, permission sets, roles.
  • User Access: Reset passwords, freeze vs. deactivate user.
  • Best Practice: Don’t delete users; deactivate instead.
4. Organization Security Controls
  • Setup Audit Trail: Admin ကနေ changeတဲ့ config changes (last 6 months) တေကိုပဲ Track လုပ်။
    only configuration changes history ကြည့်ချင်ရင် Setup Audit မှာလာကြည့်။
    Flow မှာ error ရှိလို့ကြည့်ချင်ရင် Flow ရဲ့ Debug နဲ့ Logကြည်လို့ရ။
  • Login Hours / IP Ranges: Restrict when & where users log in.
5. Sharing Model
  • OWD (Org-Wide Default): Baseline access (Private, Public Read, etc.).
  • Role Hierarchy: Access to subordinates’ data.
  • Sharing Rules: Open up access based on conditions.
  • Public Groups: Bundle users/roles for easy sharing.
  • Report & Dashboard Folders: Access via roles, groups, or users.
6. Profiles vs. Permission Sets
  • Profiles: Base-level access (objects, tabs, page layouts, login hours).
  • Permission Sets: Extra access on top of profile, assigned flexibly.
  • Best Practice: Keep profiles minimal, extend with permission sets.
