Workflow / Process Automation – (16%)

automationဆိုတဲ့အတိုင်း auto အလုပ်လုပ်ပေးတဲ့ featureတွေပါ။

Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, Approval process, Auto-Response Rule, Assignment Rule, Escalation Rule ဘယ်လိုအခြေနေမှာ ရှေ့ကဘယ် automationကိုသုံးရမလဲ ခွဲခြားတတ်ဖို့လိုပါတယ်။

1. Choosing the Right Automation Tool
  • Workflow Rules (legacy နောက်ပိုင်းမသုံး): Simple IF/THEN automation (field update, email alert, task, outbound message).
  • Process Builder (legacy နောက်ပိုင်းမသုံး being retired): More complex, multiple if/then branches.
  • Flow (recommended): Modern automation tool, handles simple to complex logic (record-triggered, screen flows, scheduled flows).
  • Approval Process: Structured record approval with steps, routing, and actions.
  • Case Assignment Rules: Auto-assign new cases to users or queues based on conditions (e.g., product, region).
  • Case Escalation Rule: သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ အချိန်၁ခုအတွင်းကျော်သွားပီး next action(reassign, change owner, send noti)လုပ်ချင်ရင်သုံး.
2. Flow – Capabilities & Use Cases
  • Types:
    • Record-Triggered ➞ Auto-run on create/update/delete.
    • Screen Flow ➞ User-guided input.
    • Scheduled ➞ Run at set times.
  • Actions: Create/update/delete records, send email, post to Chatter, call Apex
  • Use Cases: Automate onboarding, guided forms, update related records, multi-step logic
  • Best Practice: Use Flow instead of Workflow/Process Builder
3. Approval Process – Capabilities & Use Cases
  • Steps: Submit ➞ Assigned Approver(s) ➞ Approved/Rejected ➞ Final Action.
  • Approvers: User, role, related user field, queue.
  • Actions: Email notifications, field updates, record locking, outbound messages.
  • Use Cases: Discount approvals, expense approvals, contract sign-off, leave requests.
  • Impact: Record is locked during approval to prevent edits.

  • Workflow/Process builderကနောက်ပိုင်းမသုံးတော့ဘူး။Flowကိုပဲသုံးတော့မှာ။ Flowက simpleဖစ်ပီး complexဖစ်တဲ့ taskတေကိုလဲ လွယ်လွယ်ကူကူ handleလုပ်ပေးတယ်
  • complex ဖစ်တဲ့ automation task တေဆို Flow ကိုပဲသုံး
  • Workflow Rules & Process Builder = legacy (still in orgs, migrate လုပ်ပီး Flow ပြောင်းလို့ရ).
  • Approval Process = only tool with structured approval steps + record locking.
